History

In the fall of 1975 we decided to take the big dive and getting into self-employment. Ezio Casagrande, well-trained as car parts specialist with experience in domestic and foreign service since 1967, as shareholder and his wife Christine as copartner.

On 01.01.1976 was born our family company RAIFAL (Ricambi Auto Italiane - Fiat - Alfa Romeo - Lancia). Based on a competent know-how, we were able to use and establish interesting contacts with manufacturers and suppliers of original spare parts for Italian car brands. Our efforts were a success, and with direct imports we were able to expand our business.

In 1978 the RAIFAL, which now has a staff of several employees and apprentices, became a corporation “RAIFAL AG”.

As free supplier of spare parts and accessories for Italian car brands, we served garages and independent spare parts dealers in Switzerland.

Nearly five decades we’re enthusiast of Italian cars. Since 1971, we are accompanied by a Fiat Topolino 500C, which we’ve used first as utility vehicle and later as hobby car. Our Topolino was the start up to a large Topolino spare parts store. As a specialist in Italian spare parts we also supplied vintage and amateur Topolino parts dealer. 1978, in Italy, we’ve got the liquidation of Fiat Torino’s Topolino parts stock for sale. Via truck tractors we imported it to Switzerland. In the course of time, TOPOLINO CASAGRANDE developed steadily.

Meanwhile, our hobby has become a career. The parts warehouse has grown to a considerable volume. We offer all parts for Fiat Topolino and an extensive inventory of Italian classic car parts. Thanks to professional know how and many years of experience TOPOLINO CASAGRANDE operate internationally, offering comprehensive advice and valuable services.

After decades of experience and work in the auto spare parts business specializing in "Italian Cars" we get on in years! Yes, CASAGRANDE'S grow up themselves to veteran. But what’s about the continuation of the project! Unfortunately we have not found a business successor yet.
